Rural Entrepreneurship and Digital Empowerment Festival (ReDEF) Event
The Rural Entrepreneurship and Digital Empowerment Festival (ReDEF) spanned two days, dedicated to showcasing rural digital innovation and entrepreneurship in India. Hosted on March 2 and 3, 2024, at Vivekananda Seva Kendra-O-Sishu Uddyan (VSSU) in West Bengal, the event served as a platform for rural entrepreneurs to exhibit their digital prowess. Jashosree Sen, Operations Manager at 1NGO Trust, led a dynamic 45-minute workshop emphasizing the importance of establishing a digital footprint for rural organizations

c-HAI Convention 2024
The c-HAI Convention 2024 , organized by the IRDRP Trust, marked its fifth year with a focus on Tribal Development and signed an MOU with Crowdera for crowdfunding initiatives in education, water, sanitation, health, and livelihood for tribal communities. The event, held at Kings International Medical Academy, Chennai on March 15 , 2024 , saw over 350 NGOs participating. Ms. Shobha Arun, , provided an overview of 1NGO and introduced the Breast Cancer Help app to all the partners. Following this, Ms. Neena Sreedharan, delivered a presentation on 1NGO's activities, highlighting the significance of digitalization and the necessary documentation required to establish a website.

The NGO Award Summit was organised by NGOStory an impact storytelling & consulting organization helps grassroot level NGOs to build a brand for themselves and hence credibility in the market. Team from 1NGO attended as an audience on 18th March 2023, St. Joseph’s College Auditorium, Bangalore. The panel discussion was an eye opener for individuals, NGOs and other corporates as well as it dealt with a wide range of subjects pertaining to the development sector.

eNGO Challenge
The eNGO Challenge award is given away to NGOs who adopt the medium of digital tools to transform and empower oneself. The award is organized by Digital Empowerment Foundation, a Delhi-based non-profit organization dedicated towards empowering people to gain access to better healthcare, education, skills, and livelihood opportunities through digital literacy and digital tools. 1NGO was selected as a finalist in the category of NGO Digital Transformation. The event witnessed a few notable speakers like Mr. Amandeep Singh Gill, United Nations; Laurent Le Danious European Union; and Abhishek Singh, National eGovernance Division. A houseful event attended by more than 50 NGOs from across India sharing their digital journey.

digitALL: Access To Rights & Rights To Access
It was organized by Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) in Bangalore on 4th May 2023. The seminar was to celebrate DEF’s 20 years of journey in making marginalized communities empowered by providing them with the right to access information via digital mode. 1NGO was invited as a guest to the seminar. It was conducted in partnership with Ashoka Law for All Initiative.

HCL Grant Symposium
This is the 9th consecutive symposium conducted by HCL Tech Grant and CSRBox. The initiative aims to bring a sectoral understanding of CSR and how it can contribute to national building. 1NGO team attended the symposium held on 30th May in Bharath Scouts and Guides Auditorium, Bengaluru, Karnataka, and gained some insightful knowledge on CSR. HCL Tech Grant has committed Rs.16.5cr in thematic areas of Education, Health, and Environment.

Mr. Ila Eshwaraih, the organizer of the Concept Bharat initiative, along with his team, hosted a workshop titled "Fundraising and NGO Management" on September 11th and 12th, 2023, at the Vamanarao Auditorium in the Arts Block of Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupathi. On the first day of the workshop, September 11th, Smt. Shobha Arun, a representative of 1NGO, delivered a presentation titled "Why NGOS need to be in the digital world?" The event saw a gathering of over 110 NGO representatives, with only a small fraction of them having websites for their respective organizations. This provided a unique opportunity for 1NGO to highlight the importance of digital presence to NGOs.

FEVOURD-K stands for Federation of NGOs in Karnataka, which is a coalition of non-governmental organizations in the state of Karnataka, India. The federation recently organized an event in Mandya centered around the theme of "Green Karnataka." The primary objective of this event was to foster understanding and consciousness regarding the essential aspects of food security, sustainable farming practices, and the overall preservation of the environment. As part of the event, 1NGO team was extended an invitation with the purpose of enlightening emerging NGOs about the significance of establishing a digital presence. Additionally, 1NGO team facilitated the activation of websites for pre-existing nonprofit organizations already integrated within the platform. The workshop saw the active participation of over 40 NGOs, all of whom were eager to engage in the discussions and activities.

1NGO with Adobe Express empowered 46 nonprofits to create visual content by encouraging them to learn to create simple and attractive posters for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram using Adobe express on 23/02/2023. “Animate from Audio” is also a free online tool from Adobe express which helps to create animated videos which can be used on various platforms of social media. Kunal Raheja from Adobe also showed how one can create, record an animated video in the session. NGOs from pan India participated and expressed their gratitude to keynote speaker Kunal Raheja and 1NGO for the wonderful session.

This year, the International Youth Day's theme was "Intergenerational solidarity: creating a world for all ages”. The purpose was to amplify the message that action is needed from all generations. A glimpse of our initiative in facilitating 1100 face shields and N-95 masks to various hospitals in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Gadag and Mysore. Health care workers are fighting for COVID-19 with insufficient personal protective equipment. There is a need for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) kits to our healthcare workers for their protection in this #waraganistCOVID19. Taking into account of those issues. We facilitated the delivery of face shields as a part of PPE in many hospitals of Karnataka.
